Finally after almost three months of waiting it has arrived.

Now I put it in my trunk rear firing in the eD box 2.2^3 @ 30 Hz.

But I'm just not getting the bass I was expecting.

I tried moving the box around firing it diff. directions and its getting 1k watts.

So would building a new box ported to say 45 Hz help my problem?

Nobody knows what kind of bass you are expecting....

One of the users I talk to regularly swears it needs to be heavily broken in in order for him to like listening to it... Perhaps give it a few weeks to see what happens from there...

Try a lil bigger box...around 2.5-2.7...tune a lil higher- 32-33...should give a lil boost...

gah that sucks ..... what are you hearing? is it clean? whats did you have before this to compare to? people compare this to the 12w7. when i heard a 10w7 i was like AWEOSME!!! you should be thrilled, unless the As arent all they are cracked up to be?

Im sorry if I misled anyone into thinking the A was overrated because its not!

The A has some of the cleanest deepest bass I have ever heard, absolutely no distortion. Completely worth the money. My problem is lying in the box itself. I just feel that its tuned a little low for my tastes as I hardly listen to any songs that drop into the 30 Hz range on a daily basis.

To experiment last night into the wee hours of the morning I started building a new ported box 2.6 @ 38 Hz so well see how this works.

Also this moring I went and signed out an o-scope from one of the labs at my school and Im about to go play with the gains becuase I think they might be set a bit low also going to play with the lpf and all that business

Ill keep you up to date.

Just keep in mind this woofer is awesome. but when Im done itll be awesome^3

This is all I hear now!!!

My 15A is absolutely amazing.

I dropped it in my new box 2.7@ 38Hz, adjusted my amp with the scope and it now bumps like nobodies business.

I cant even describe how clean it is. Most excellent.

I've noticed that with almost every sub i've ever played with.....it just doesn't sound right until the suspension loosens up considerably.....however, if you think about it, it really makes sense. It should be a lot easier for a sub to go from one end of it's bandpass to the other within miliseconds if the suspension is a little looser.
