I was just about to flame you for starting a "pyramid scam" thread when I first read the title, but now I'm going to flame you for STEALING a dub7 for less than $160, ESPECIALLY it works.

and that ring is what makes the woofer work, so it is a crucial piece of equipment...
But you can buy them from any JL dealer, and I'm pretty sure it would work fine without it.

Best case scenario - buy new rings for $25-40 or whatever it is, fix surround with silicon sealant

Worst case scenario - send it in for a recone, end up with brand new 13w7 for under $500

Works for me.
