You saying DD1512 vs Kicker L7 12"???

That is kinda a funny comparison...a 500wrms sub against a 750wrms sub nearly twice its MSRP.

The DD1512 will hold its own, but the L7 will take it. (given the power and box)

BUT, the box can make a HUGE difference. For instance, the other local place here in my town builds 'custom' boxes for L7 12's. My box w/ a DD1512 on 500-600w vs their L712 on 500-600w, and the DD1512 will jump up and surprise you. I have shown that to people in that shop (heads up comparison).

the 2512 is a better compersion... output is very similar and the 2500s sound alot better... the 3500s are a ste up from the l7s while still sounding decent...just highly depends on the box tune and what your tring to accomplish... the 3512 in 2 cubes tuned to 30 sounds excellent.. you just need a bit more port area 40in^2 or more because of the high displacement and suspension used...i tried 45 and it worked really good...

I'm 100% w/ you on the DD2500 comparison.

I always tell people not to sleep on the 2500's, 750wrms is just tapping the surface on those little guy's.

I have run them on ~1400wrms each w/ no problems at all for 6months+ and beat the hell out of them.

At the local show I host, got the kicker guys thinking...lol...beat one guy w/ 2 L715's on a massive 1500d by ~3dB...lawl. (that was my box verses "theirs")
