And you have a truck lot less air space. I have an explorer that does over a 150 daily. That's the only reason I chimed in.

To the OP. Go with something else. You have the potential to get close to a 150 with that setup, but the ED's are not loud subs. Look into maybe a pair of BL 18's.

The 19o's use a 2.5" coil, I believe, and they have a single spider

they arent really spl subs

I have two, and have played with them in many boxes

they are easy to make sound good, no doubt

the lfe is great

but for serious spl, they arent ideal

if you are just throwing a number out there, Im sure theyll be fine for what you are wanting

but if you are seriously looking for 150db, you may wanna look for something else

all business practices aside, the 19os have served me well for a couple of years, but I dont plan on competing with them

they were cheap, they sound good, and get loud, but like Ive said, use something else of you are looking for a meter king

Really? 150 easy with one 15 in an explorer? REALLY? Maybe on the old AC MAYBE. And definitely nothing for daily use like he's suggesting. I don't think you realize how loud a 150 is.

in an spl box its very easy. to do 150 daily you need a lot more cone area/power. 4 12's non walled in explorer could do it but it would be hard. (mine current setup in sig can do it for 30 seconds but after that i get smoke). 4 15's nonwalled would be the best in my opinion to achieve a 149.9 bassracer daily

do you have any deadener on your roof? i get some serious roof flex at 37-38hz and it kills output, you can hear the roof flexing almost over the bass
