15'' re mx

hey i have a 15''re mx in a 3.2 cubic foot box tuned to 28hz...i have my 1606d on it at .5 ohm and the sub is taking it all...how much power could i run daily to it? and what kind of amp would be suitable.

yea thats what i was leaning towards but i was just wondering how much they can take...i saw a video of 2 mx's getting 2500 rms each not sure if true..but my lil hifonics is pushing my sub but i know it can take ALOT more

I wouldnt throw any more than 2kw to one. Also RE calls for a 4cube box.

I understand where you're coming from. Pick up a Orion 2500d or a zx2500 and just watch the gains. You gotta a little more lead way with a slightly smaller box.

yea i wanted a bigger amp so it would be pushing all it had and i could adjust it ill look into it more...what would u go with kicker or orion?

What's the coil config. on your MX? If its dual 1, go with the kicker and wire the MX to 2ohm.
