15" XXX in a Nissan 350Z

Any one ever heard of a 15" XXX in a 350Z? Its looking like I might need to get something that dosent require as much airspace. Just checking to see if this has been done.

I dont think youll be able to get that to work bro, I've never even seen a 15 period in a 350z much less a XXX

I don't know how big the trunk is....I assume pretty small, but you could try a sealed 15" of some sort in an upfiring box.

Well I heard tons of times that a XXX in a sealed box sounds just ok. I would hate to have to sell the sub and get another. What do you guys think I should do.

Call RE and ask the guys there that own XXX's how they run them. So far Ive found 2 guys that run them sealed (for the SQ), and 0 who run them ported. I think they sound excellent sealed also, so I dont know where this notion they don't perform well sealed came from. I recall someone putting a XXX (although might have been a 12) in a 350Z a while back. Pretty sure it was on this board, he was asking questions about moving the t-top rack to mount the box.... or something.... iirc.

Here's 2 sealed 15" XXX's in a 300ZX. Dont know if the trunk space is the same though...

you can actually buy custom fit enclosures on ebay. But they are very pricey.

I sweet *** little 10in sub (SE?) should be more than sufficient in a 350Z (Hatchback)
