15" Sundown Z15 Vs. IA Death Row Vs. AA Havoc for SQL

Hey guys,

I'll have an SAE-1200D for my powerplant and I'm looking for a good 15" SQL woofer that'll do good in no more than four cubes, preferably 3.5. I'm for sure wanting to go ported as I listen to a lot of hip-hop and rap. I'd like my 15 to sound noticeably better than a pair of Type R's but still get really loud. I've narrowed my list down to three subs.

I will have a box made to specs when I choose which sub I go with. I'll be ordering the d2 version of the sub so I can wire down to one ohm on my 1200D as well. Let me know what you guys think will suit my needs.

Better is easily done... Now if you are thinking better as in louder, than you're dreaming.

I hear the RD alpha v3 is **** good as well. I'm looking to pick one of those up once I get the ca$h.

Sticking to what the OP asked, I agree, it will be difficult to drop to a single driver and increase output. All three drivers are very capable, and come from excellent companies, and all three would be right at home on that power. I think it is a win win as they are not too far from each other. Check on the specs and find out which is closest to our goals. As for which is louder, that all depends on the install.
