15" SI Mag + Orion 2500D?

I have this Mag laying around that I got in a deal last year, thing is like mint, i just haven't had the time or the focus to mess with it, but I decided to try it out, I have a few other amps but nothing really in that 1500-2k range people like to run these things off of. I was able to snag a 2500D that needs some work, but nothing too serious and i got it for next to nothing...obviously I have seen people pushing their Mags with more power, but is the 2500D going to be too much for the Mag on a daily setup?

How much power u really get out of them at 2 and 1 ohm?

yea, that's what i figured...i figured about 2k was right about there or pushing it...oh well, i didnt get the 2500 specifically for it so im not worried, and like i said i got it at a song...will probably throw my kx1200 on it then...

Yeah, I wouldn't send it more than 1500 daily. My 12" takes 1200 fine and seems like it can take a little more. It's probably seeing a more realistic real world 1000 watts. At this, it's very loud and I don't think more wattage would make it that much louder.

And who cares if it's too much amp? Just keep your gains down and adjusted at 1500watts.

Yup ... My Lanzar's rated for 1600wrms so I set the gains for 1200 @ 0db.

You should set the gain at -3db, all of your music is probably way under 0db. Idk what I'm gonna use this time. This shiz is so loud already hahhaha
