15" or 18"

i was going to go with a pair of 18" but what do they sound like compaired to a 15" of same power so i guess my ? is 15" or 18" but i have heard that on 18"subs you dont get alot of in car sound compared to say 12's or 15's

ok i just have not heard 18" subs in a car before not to many good shops around here but i think i can get the 12 cubes they call for the pair and they are going in a hatch
