15" Nightshade and saz3000

We have found that customers using D2 model Nightshades on a 3000D @ 1 ohm are doing quite well with them daily with a proper gain adjustment and proper enclosure size (about 3 cubes). All of the new ones DO come standard with the longer coils, enhanced cooling, and improved adhesives that we have been working on.

So with a good front battery, a rear batt and good ground as long as i set the gains right I would be fine? THis set up void the warranty on the nightshade?

They are rated 1500 watts RMS so a blown coil is no longer covered by warranty at double that.

You are very unlikely to run into a problem with the proper enclosure size and gain setting, though.

Re-Cones are not expensive if something does happen, 100 bucks.

derrick is hookin me up with a 3 cu ft that can be double tuned to i believe 42 hz and 34.5 hz.. from what it seems like he is the man for the job and is the one to do the job right.
