I just bought two 15" L7's. I have the 4 ohm DVC's wired in parallel to 2 ohms. The speakers are bridged to a 1200W Power Acoustic amp. The speakers are in a sealed enclosure(Constructed With: 5/8 MDF

Enclosure Volume: 1.6 Ft. Per Chamber

Dimensions: 34W x 16-1/2H x 13D)

I'm still not getting the ground punding bass i know these speakers are capable of. I've only had them hooked up for one day and I've heard they take a little while to break in. Is this true and would it make that much of a difference in the deepness of the bass?Any suggestions would be greatly appretiated. I cant wait to hear these things at their full potential. PLEASE HELP.

I dont agree on the power issue, power is not the deciding factor in SPL. I do however agree that if you want more output, you should go ported. Also, with that box being 5/8" MDF, and having two 15L7's in it, there could be some flexing going on, but I doubt it is the major cause for loss of output.

If you dont have enough room to make a ported box, then I would get a bigger amp, or just add a second amp that is equal to what you have now.
