15" H2, 15" SI Magnum D2,15" Eclipse ti, 15" Adire Brahma,15" XXX

Your vehicle isn't exactly conducive to installing a large subwoofer(unless you wanted to do a blow through)

Your best bet would be to build the box in the same way you built the Eclipse box. Sub and port up. That style should also give you enough length to tune to 30hz.

BTW, was that Eclipse sealed in 6.1net? If it was, thats the reason it blew.

LMK if you have any more questions.

The box's interneal airspace was 6.1cubes including the woofer. And it never blew. It just ripped the surround. It still hit hard just visually detractive. But it was also getting 2500w from a viper 2500.1 @ 2ohms.

MAke the h2 box long like the eclipse and then put the port down the center or on the end?

Hey drjjg how do you like your sub in that enclosure? I know it gets loud but how does it sound? I'm putting mine in a 3.5 cube sealed but I've been thinking about going with a similar enclosure to yours since everyone says they sound really good ported as well.

Plays very flat, clean and LOW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I would certainly suggest trying that enclosure, I like it better than the 5.62net, 80sq" tuned to 33hz box I tried.

I won't be running it very much longer however, I'm getting it reconed to a dual 1ohm 18" :thumbsup I think I'll try 4cubes sealed first, then 7.5net, tuned to 30hz.

I like LOUD, CLEAN, LOW output. I just wish they'd set the frequency limit in dB Drag to under 40hz, even 35hz. That'd be fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If you wanted to have the enclosure in the middle, like the Ti box, I'd keep the port at the back and the sub at the front.

Just alter the box volume(keeping the same basic shape) to 3net, with 40sq" of port tuned to 30hz. The port will displace a good amount of space cause it'll be around 30" long.

If you want to give me your max dimensions, I can come up with a design for ya.

LMK.

Yeah, i had a 15 H2 and i ran a bad ground. Bad ground=bad signal=fried vc=blown sub

I love the Eclipse Ti's, they are just a little pricey for me. Im thinking about 2 Eclipse aluminum DVC 15"s, more reasonable in the price range.

thats what I'm thinking of doing too, 2 aluminum 15's sealed or ported.
