15" FI BTL vs 18" FI BTL

I have a Hifonics 1606d to power the driver, do you think it would take better advantage of the 18" or the 15"? Any help is appreciated, thanks beforehand.

um.. maybe a q or bl, if thats all the power you have

in a less ******* way than everyone else

you need more power for a BTL.

a 15" or 18" Q would be better suited if you wanted more SQ, or a BL for more SPL

I agree with the above statements. Unless you are planning to add another amp later, I would do a 15/18" Q for SQ, or 15/18" BL daily loaded for more output.

Thanks for the responses, I should have mentioned that I currently have a Brahma 15" with the 1606d. I am looking to buy a new sub first, then acquiring a new amp. I know the BTLs are rated @2000rms, but I figured I should spend my money on a driver first (which I can use with my current amp) then upgrade an amp when I get more money, instead of getting ~2500watts of power, and only using 1100 of it on my current driver. I was also considering a Q, but I've heard that they are comparable to Brahmas, though I don't know how true that statement is.

No it doesn't.

You could do an 18 in a trailblazer.

Personally, I'd do a 15.
