Hey guys Im tryin to sell my 15" Cerwin Vega Stroker as the title says ... I got it about 4 months ago ... and i had a Crossfire VR1202 amp hooked up to it putting out 1200 watts ... this thing hits reallyyyyyyyyyyyyy hard and nice ... i also had the dimensions for an SPL box i built it ... it looked like it was going to start cracking around the edges ... so i put some black silicone to prevent that ... it does not affect the performance at all ... that is what you see in the pics ... and it is a little bit dusty too ... the guy i bought it off of bought it 2 years ago brand new for $700 ... he didnt use it much at all ... i however use it alot ... mostly only bang the system like weekends ... i only turn it up halfway during the week ... but itll be up about 3/4 the way on the weekends and its really loud ... my cousin heard me coming from like 5 streets over

Price: $350 obo

Trades: another 15" sub ... trade for 2 15" L7s(might add but it depends on how new and what year they are) ... or 1 10" or 12" solox straight up ... throw offers at me ... 15" SUBS ONLY !!!!

***I AM ALSO SELLING THAT BOX IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED ... THE SUB PROLLY WAYS LIKE 35-40 LBS AND THE BOX WAYS ABOUT 75 LBS OR SO ... IT IS MADE OUT OF 3/4 INCH MDF ... AND HAS 2 4 INCH ROUND PORTS TAHT ARE 16 INCHES LONG EACH ... IT IS PRETTY MUCH READY TO CARPET OR DO WANT YOU WANT WITH IT*** IM LOOKING TO GET ABOUT 125 SHIPPED FOR IT SINCE IT IS SO BIG AND HEAVY ... ITS 5 CUBIC FOOT AND IT WAS BUILT BASED OFF OF THE SPECS FOR SPL BY CERWIN VEGA***

that is a very high price ... i just posted one ... thats why it says OBO ... look at that ... 100 is way low ... and its not 95% silicone ... its like 10% ... so no ... AND THANKS FOR THE LOWBALL

didnt these subs require re-calibration after so many hours of play? just curios-- heard em once-- two in a blowthrough in a mini truck-- **** near knoced me over-- they do POUND

yes it only has 1200 watts to it ... and it does pound extremely nice ... i dont think it needs to be re-calibrated ... and i would think the spider does count as cone area and it does move

The adjustment knob on the front spider is for fine tuning the sub. The biggest problem with the strokers is that it tears around the front spider so anyone looking to but one needs to pay close attention there. Cerwin Vega still repairs them for some $$$.

Its a great sub but $350 is to high, shipping will be over $40.

on the new ones, it adjusts the bias of the voicecoil in the gap, adjusted forward for more SPL, a higher forward to rearward bias, and then centered in the gap for SQ.

i think the old ones adjust the stiffness of the guide, limiting the motion of the front spider, but it may be the same as the new ones

yeah im not sure to much ... the guy didnt tell me much about it ... i sent some questions about it to cerwin vega but they havent replied yet ... yah shipping it decent it weighs like 45 lbs ... im really looking to get like 300 shipped anywehre
