15" avalanche

so i think i decided on a 15" avalanche for my tahoe, and i have two questions...

1) will a hifonics 500D be enough or go with 1000D

2) will one be enough or go on with two? now i have 3 10" mtx 6000s pushed by a small bazooka amp, how will either setup compare

out of those two, go with the hifonics bx1000d at 1ohm...theyre underrated. probably really puts out 100 or so watts less than 1000. on the avs you only need 500-1000watts and about 4-5 cubes ported. theyre pretty efficient subs.

if they were underrated then they would put out more than 1000 watts, not less (overrated).

Although i don't own an avalanche they are rated at ~800 rms but i have heard of a couple people around giving it ~1000rms. A BX1000d would be a great choice if you are on a budget.
