not just any recone will fit any motor. And the finished product will not be the same as it was before and it won't be same as the sub the parts should be in. It may or may not be better/worse

im not sure if AA still makes recone kits for ava's, the Q is about the same, should i get that recone kit instead?

and for example if an xxx recone did fit, would it be able to handle the 1600 rms instead of the 800 rms of an ava

Well FI car audio and Ascendant have partnered up, so I would contact FI for recones.

They have not joined. They are two seperate companies. FI will be building the subs for Ascendant but that is as far as it goes. They are still Ascendant and FI is still FI

yea i really hardly bump but when i do i want my teeth to hurt, wanst quite makin my teeth hurt though

and false alarm its not blown wierd ... but there is this really nasty rattle inside it, the higher hz u go up the worse it gets. took off the dust cap, cant seem to find it.

yep im pretty sure i can sell my ava pretty fast, my friend goes to gainsville regularly so i can have him pick me up a BTL

then just add another dcx1000.1 + a battery

It's not just the coil which determines how much wattage it can handle or how loud it will get.

What are you basing your statement off of that the Q and Ava are about the same? They are 2 different woofers completely.

Best bet would be to sell it and get a louder sub

yep um the ava turned out to be fine but there is still this rattle from the inside and its noticable in my hatch, probably not in a sedan. so im going to sell my sub and then probably get a 15 fi btl

ayone know about this rattle im talkin bout, i took off the dust cap, i still cant find where it is.
