15'' orion h2's any good?

Man ive seen the Orions gettin hit with 3000rms for burbs and 2500 for daily so stop talkin like u know everything audio guy when in fact u need to get back the books and study . XXX's with 2500rms would be dangerous b/c they would be over there limit of blowing they may take for a bit but they will blow.

BTW sony sucks very big nuts .

They only handle 2000watts rms, 2500watt peak. I know for a fact a XXX will sound better, and would be able to handle 2000watts itself, the peak on it is 2500watt peak also.
hahha, looks like someone can read, but yet they have no experience with them. last year i ran a 2500d to each h2 with no probs. but your saying that it cant be done, eh? i suppose my hair tricks were just staged since i cant possibly run 2500 watts to each h2, right? And i suppose Me running 4 modded 1200d's to each h2 this year will result in more failure, right? since your good at reading, tell me how much power a modded 1200d will put out at 17 volts.

Your right, the XXX would sound better. Better than the walmart shit your sportin. Maybe you should spend less money on that monitor you got and more on a sub that doesnt sound like someone takin a shit

Thats peak, peak means nothing in car audio. Maybe one day you will learn that, how about you go and measure how much power your amp is throwing into your subs then come back and tell me. Orion claims to 2500watt peak not rms, that means they have probably been tested at 2500watt rms and didn't handle it. The orion h2's are great subs, but the XXX's are better sorry.

Walmart seems to be the only comeback any of you ***** seem to come up with, try and throw something else out there. Wal mart doesn't sell the P5 series! I spent 50 bux on these subs and have been happy for now, i hit 126db and have them running 360watts rms, for sony's they sound pretty **** good. I'm surprised but when money is a factor you can't put yourself in debt over something that isn't that **** important.

justsayk= n00b/owned
I'm not sure if i should even honor this with a response, but i'm going to anyway. I think you should seriously consider this statement. when and by whom did i get owned...show me the post. I really wish people like you just had more common sense. I'll admit, i'm pretty new to car audio, but i don't go telling everyone how great the super subs are when i've never heard them. Stop giving people wrong information. This board is meants to help people out, and you're preventing that. I really hope you're not like this with the rest of your life...or maybe i do...people get beat up for saying the things that you say.

wow dude, you blow me away with your stupidity. I send 2500 watts daily, Shane sends 4800 watts daily PER SUB. Come back to the forum when your system breaks 130dB. Untill then, go read up so you dont sound like a dumbass with every word you type

my comebacks have nothing to do with walmart, they have to deal with your inexperience with Orion. How many have you owned? Call Orion(800)876-0800 and ask for tech, and see who designed their latest box specs for em. Bet ya they say me bro, and they are not listed on the site. But since you know so much, why dont you tell me what those specs are //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Tell me what you know about the dual gap geometry or split gap , since you understand these subs so much.

Right now my money is more important not to waste it on something i frankly don't need right now. Sorry if orion claims 2500watts is the peak then it is, if 2000watts rms is the rms handling then thats it. They know more then you guys do, go measure your watts with a watt tester then come back and tell me your hitting 2500watts rms continious.

XXX has betetr SQ and SQ alone other then that the ORion H2 owns in SPL , so go back ur hole and listen to ur gay P5's and leave the good stuff to people who know what they are talkign about if u really knew naythign about Orion u'd know everything they make doesnt use peak wattage they use Rms only rating idiot.

Or better yet, lets have an indepth comparison of the XXX and H2. BL curves, stability over a range of power and frequency response in sealed cabin and anechoic environments? Since you know so much, im dying for someone to teach me. Better yet, how about the motor design, Dual Gap over xbl2. Do they use Alnico magnets? Do you know what Alnico is? Im dying for enlightenment.

4800 till i get the 16 volt setup finished, then i will be sitting at 9200 watts per sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but like that audiogay guy says, they will never handle it, better tell that to ben sams, since he has been doing it now for over a month!

Dual Gap Geometry that centers a short, lightweight voice coil between two magnetic gaps. The resulting ultralight moving mass is driven through a far flatter, more linear stroke by the extended magnetic field. The result is phenomenal excursion and linearity as well as enhanced efficiency.

with 4 1200 watt amps to each H2, i do believe i am surpassing that. and by the way, all our testing is done by Dominick Iraggi, the modded 1200 will do 2300 watts unclipped at 17 volts. but hey, what do i know, eh?

If they only use rms, why is their site putting up peak and rms numbers? Read again ***! Orion measure their subs by both not just rms go to their site and read.

i am gonna tell you that you have an opportunity to prove someone wrong in this thread about the BL but i aint tellin you why or how //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
