Would there be a significant difference between one 15 SI Mag and 2 SI MAG 12's? would the 2 12's outpound it that much? Any advice? i know that its a matter of 950 RMS VS 1800, which really isnt a tough one to figure out, but ive seen a 10 W7 out do 2 10W3v2's so i am just curious, this is going in the back of a mustang.

2 12 inch mags sound great in a mustang!

2 of them will be about 3 db's louder. Which is twice the amount of output, but won't seem twice as loud to your ear.

The 2 - twelves will have about 25% more cone area, which means about .75db more output... probably not enough to hear. The two twelves will handle more power, have less chance of power compression, have more total magnets.

Theoretically, the larger the cone, the less stiff it will be... this makes the case for using smaller subs.

4- tens would be even better.
