i jus got of these for 10 bucks off my friend...and i cant find any information on any these...can anyone tellme how much power these should be in ...n should i port them or leave them sealed??? what amp would do good to power these...he says their first gen kicker cvr's...thhey are all black..no writing or nething on them..can someone please give me some info..thanks

I've never seen any kicker subs that didn't have a kicker emlem on it some where. I know my firts gen cvr was rated at 500rms and a 1,000max. It was also a dvc 4 ohm sub. It like either sealed or ported. Go to kickers website and find it or I can do it for you. Anyways I think yout friend is pulling your leg.

yeh i dont really think they are...ive never had any 15a before n they just look like they'll be nice for the 10 bucks i paid lol..but if i can find a camera ill post the pictures up and see if anyone knows what they are

Is there a kicker sticker on the magnet/motor or does the sub look lie a sub that's from a home audio set up? If it's a home audio sub or some cheaply made sub I would either give it back or build a huge box and use it at home. BTW is it dual voice coil or single. Also get a volt meter and find the ohm load on it. If it's an 8 ohm load more than likely it's a home audio woofer given the description of the sub.

i have a feeling their home audio subs...b/c my mom has a 12 in her car n i just hooked it up in there...and there was bass..but it sounded horrible...n it looks like there was a cap in the middle but it came off b/c there is glue around the center..but im not posittive...i hooked it up to my dvd player tho..(cheap i know) lol and the bass coming out sounded half decent judging the fact there was like 25 watts going to it..but the motor has no writing or anything on it..but if i got 2 15's for home audio for 10 bucks i think i did pretty good..

what kind of box would i need to build for a home entertainment system...also would i be able to hook them up to my computer???..with a reciever and just have everything running through that or an amp??
