The optima sc31 & sc27dm have been load tested as they are the only ones with no plastic.

The lone sc34du (yellow top) with NO plastic is not for sale.

All come with the manufacture warranty.

If the seller’s procedure is to contact the manufacturer or if they do not provide a customer service phone number that they answer (not the Optima batteries customer service number) we recommend looking elsewhere.

For same-day purchases and service we recommend visiting your nearest Optima retailer, as online purchases can take multiple days to arrive. Likewise, in the event that product support service is needed, online purchases must be shipped back to the original seller and can take several days to be processed and returned.

Thanx for your input, but I wouldn't pay retail price on an item that has shot up in price almost 50% in less than a couple of years. I haven't even heard of a single case of someone having to send in their Optima battery for "Warranty Service."
