Honestly ? You could put two in 1 cube ported but fitting the port in the box within reason would be almost impossible... due to that fact you generally need to go a bit bigger.

I'd suggest 1.75-2 cubes for the pair tuned @ 35 hz. With 2 cubes this would be 28 in^2 of port x 26.5" long (a single 6" aeroport would work but you may have to do part of it external).

Should be fine - just set the gain accordingly.

The 1200s are capable of 1500+ watts so you could potentially hurt them after long periods of play... but you would really have to be going to town on them.
