This is my demo car....It used to have 1 Havoc 12" sub facing the rear...I am trying something new... I am working on custom hinge system to motorize rear seat...This sub and amp combo is temporary...I have another 12" Havoc in route for a combination of two and a DC Audio 3.5k (5k later).........The current setup done a 146.3 @ 53hz with an AB VFL 120.1 clamped at 1332 watts at 2.2 ohms.....I do have an XS Power D3100 wired in parallel with my stock battery in trunk.. I have a stock alternator for now (mechman in works)..

Very respectable for a single 12" havoc even though you are tuned in the 50's. How does it sound on music?

The box is tuned to 39........It peaked at 53......The two 12" XDs done the 146.....Unfortunately I never metered the single Havoc but it wasn't nowhere near this loud...It actually sounds pretty good on music.......It done a 144.3 on Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now"

The box is 3.5 cubes net after all displacements tuned to 39 hz with 20 inches of port per cube.........They are wired down to 1 ohm before rise........

What kind of car was it in?

Does a smaller box yield less imp rise? Or are there too many other factors? Most setups I have seen are getting close to 3x the rise of the nominal impedance.
