Today I was messing around with my system and tried to find some songs that played well in my setup since my box is very peaky. In fact the box peaks around 30hz. Well, I was playing some chopped and screwed song and found one that it slammed the lows. Here is the link to download it and try it out.

I have a 99 silverado with a blowthrough. I have 2 DD 9515's in a 6th order bandpass with a horrible upper end. It peaks super low and just about it. The meter was in the kick all sealed up. My truck doesn't like sealed up and backseat doesn't fold. But it is very violent when it comes to the lows.

Very impressive to get loud and low IMO.

My box is tuned to 35hz, but I peaked at 147.1 @ 31Hz. I prefer the lower tune as it sounds VERY good for the music I listen to which is pretty much anything but new rap stuff...

What is your box tuned to?

The rear chamber is tuned to about 33hz and the front is tuned to about 72hz.

Lol, I know what you mean. That's why I'm building another box. It should have a better transient response.

Those low notes are nice... My 6 Treo 15s did a 143+ @ 16hz... I dont even want to know what my BTLs did at that note. It had to be a 146+ @ 20hz.

Actually the AQ's tuned to 35Hz seem to play very flat and blend nicely with my front stage.

Maybe a "real men do it @ 30Hz" t-shirt...

The idea for my next box is 12 net with 215 sq inches of port tuned to about 35hz. Should play okay.
