sorry n00b question but i was wondering is there any way to push my amp at 14v instead of 12 that way i would be pushing my subs at 500w each instead of 350?

When your car is turned on, you're getting around 14V...depending on your alternator and how "stiff" your charging system is at picking up transients.

usually your car charges amps at 14.4v(most common number) but most likely you will see something like 13.8's, just dont turn any lights on lol and use only what ever u need to use that consumes electricity, thats what idiots do. just buy an h/o alt and u wont have to worry lol!

buy a trickle charge with variable output, charge Your battery to a 14.5vdc floating charge.
