14 in port area for Type R 12

Do you think 14 sq in of port area with 2 3" aeroports is enough for a 12" type R with somewhere in the area of 700-900 watts?

what size is the box? id say its probably not enough and would be louder if you have more port

no...at least 20in^2....25in^2 would be posh.

Two 4" ports would be a better choice, IMO.

outside dimensions are 19x18x14.5 :-\

trying to fit 2 4's at about 30-32 hz is looking impossibly hard, thats why im looking for other options

Slot port?

Either way, thats gonna be a slightly small box for a 12" after port and sub displacement.
