understand where your coming from, but still dont see them being louder just from the sheer amount of air a 13w7 can move over a 12

lolz you make a point, i actually get pretty good deals on my stuff i never buy unless i can get a deal.

You dont see it, but you would hear it. The power you could put to them would be 2 fold. And with the extra breathing room of the 12s, would transfer air better. Heck you could probably run two XCON 10s and be up there too. Cone area helps, but box design, air transfer, and power can compensate.

took care of the breathing problem, got rid of those racks, and moved my bats to the spare tire bay....the box is to spec had the box guy at rockin ronnys help design it.

i already have one so im going to get the other no matter what.......but when i buy a new car (suv) will not be keeping these will def move to multiple 18s.

don't want to sound like a ****, but i really have given this alot of thought, but can we get back on subject....i just bought my other one for $501 shipped new....looking for another deal like this just haven't found one yet.

i do appreciate the feed back though.

Seriously man for the price of ONE w7 man that's crazy... Just because it's a 13" w7 doesn't mean it's louder than any 12 a BTL N2 would dominate it any mid-high end subwoofer from DC, AA, FI, even PSI yes dave, RE like dude so many louder brands the ORIGINAL RE's would be way better SQ and get a lot louder. I can think of so many dual 12" that would be louder and sound cleaner. Heck I can think of Dual 10's that would sound better be louder and be cheaper. PM me if you're interested but if you just want to stay JL suit yourself.

not seeing 10s getting louder sorry, its actually cone area over xmax/ power handling to a certain point of coarse, waiting for dc creations to chime in....and theres 2 not one.

Like I said, we already talked and the W7 is a great sub... But we all have our opinions... I truly think you could get louder and be cleaner with 2 10s... But yes multiple 18s get down. Lets not forget the legend, Nate Munson, hit a 170 with 1 10 and 5000 watts. Its all in the design. I am no where near that level of expertise, but just giving you an example.

No need but that extra 200$ that a w 7 adds on does not make it better then an xcon hell I know for a fact with both off there rated power in an optimal box the xcons would whip the w 7

yeah, when i mentioned put a lot of though into this, i actually have saved a lot of dollars for my system specifically( with work never really got around to upgrading), and sounds kind of bad but want to spend it all

what i dont spend in the next month im going to put into my new car fund. going to make a straight spl. hopefully buy an suv in the spring as a project car. actually have gotten war farther into this hobby than i ever anticipated.

keeping this car until it dies i love her so there going to be in there for probably 5 + more years.

never said the $200 dif made it better its more of a WANT than anything, since i have the moneyz laying around i figure i might as well buy what i have always wanted. thats why i just bought a new track bike the other day its time to repay myself for my hard work.
