here's more on the 13w7. from the seller. i'll post photo's when i get them, any input.

Thats fine, I'm glad your here, your welcome by every one. I'll get some pics if you want, I want $350 shipped, but the cone was fixed with repair glue, and the surround has a slit in it but not all the way through. I'll get pics and if you think its a lil to messed cosmeticly I can do 325-330 shipped

price seems a bit high for a used sub with damage, depends on how much shipping is and what not. Sub will be very nice, clean, low, and loud. Not a combination you usually see in a sub.

a recone from JL is pretty expensive. Did this sub come from an authorized dealer??

not sure i'm looking into this. thanks for the questions, i actually never thought that, once again thanks. as for a recone never looked in to that either, any where else that i could get a good recone job.

Find out where the sub came from, if it was bought from a non authorized JL audio dealer JL will make you re-serial number it before they will work on it. Which cost like 100.00 or more.

oooh.. that would sorta bother me, personally.

why is it that so many w7's are damaged all the time? Every sub seems to have some gash or cut or something.

JL quoted me $250 per sub just to replace the foam surround. Of course that included reconing the sub, but I thought that was a bit extreme for just the surround.

yeah thats crazy. thats more or less why iam passing on this sub, even though i do like JL, but thats my opinion.

300 for the sub + 250 for the recone. so i'd be looking at 600 roughly with shipping and time involved, might as well buy one brand new, or better looking used one. or stick with my origianl plan, 2 12w6v2s.
