i like the w7 over the w6 in every category. have yourself a listen, some people just don't like the sound of a w7.

I just listened to a W7 in the HO box in my car runnin off of my mc1500d and it sounded so good. A lot of output, it played pretty low and seemed tonally accurate. Now I want to hear a W6 for comparison. But the W7 rocked.

I agree. I haven't heard the W6, but I have the same set-up in my SUV (12W7 in HO box getting 850W) and it plays loud, low and the SQ matches my K2Ps very well.

The w7 would probably get louder than the w6 and will sound good while doing it.

But i would go with the 13w6v2 nice output and uncomparable sound.

You're not alone my friend. Im also faced with the dilema of "which one to choose"

I'm undecided between 2 12w6v2 or 1 13w7. It just seems the W7 wud just be a better woofer for a few given reasons: Its more expensive:greedy:, bigger , more power, more tecnologies, e.t.c. I had a pair of 10w6v2 and I was really happy with them, but I would like to own a w7. I heard one once in a Honda Civic Hatchback and it was INSANE!. We played a bass cd not actual music, so I have no idea how it sounds with music. The only thing that I can think of is that people dont like the W7's ability to reproduce the high freq. like the dub 6 does. But IM GUESSING.

It gets loud , and i like the sound but your gonna have to listen for yourselftheres too many mixed opinions on the sound of this sub, like i said i like it but it not might be for you .. If cash isnt an optiongo w7 imo and put at least 1k to it ..

ill just add this for the #'s part of it.. I made a box tuned to 40 hz for my buddys 12w7 , then put my 1000/1 in there tuned it all then did a few tones peaked near the same fs but nearly 3.5 db louder.. 146.8.. I'm running a 13dub7 off about 900wrms ported to 32 i think. As long as you have a decent front stage you won't really have a problem with the upper frequencies. I think it sounds great, although I havent heard a properly setup w6v2 install so I can't really compare.
