I had to bail on a 134dB system the other day at a show. Couple ****** 15's sealed on 1000W (actually sounded fairly good). 8" PA mids and super tweeters lined up along the rear deck hard clipped.

Why the **** do people think this sounds good? I've never bailed out of a car in my life until this past weekend.

There was a dually at a local shop the other day with 6 PA mids underneath it and they were playing wide open (no tweeters, mind you). There were guys standing around it in amazement, like OMG its so loud bro.

I'm standing there wishing someone would turn it off or down at least. It sounded so terrible. But, I've come to realize that you simply can't help some people. Some people just like to make lots of noise and don't care how it sounds.

Very common for guys to play PA mids full range and full distortion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I rather like how my PA set ups sound....

There is NOTHING wrong with PA, until you put them in a vehicle. They are amazing when used properly! I'll be using some Crescendo PA's in my Blazer but they're not going to be IN the cabin... When you drop the "tailgate" they'll fold up and point out in an enclosure. for muddin and parties and stuff like that. I've heard a bunch of PA's in a car and it SSUUUUUCCCKED, then he opened the doors, we walked like 50-60 yards away and it sounded fantastic. LOL

There is nothing wrong with pa drivers or supertweets...everything wrong with them is the numbnuts installing and setting it up

I have yet to hear any that sounded anything close to "good" in a car. This one last weekend took the prize for awful though. Loading the rear deck with horns, 8" mids, and super-tweeters will never sound good at any power level, ever.

Man don't be lying I don't have them in the rear deck I put mine in my center console. I only had 1 bail out though.

134dB???

Was that 134dB...A....C....or....D????

Hell...134dBA would have left you with a trip to the emergency room.

No. Afraid I might love it.
Should have come to Frost Off and gave mine a listen, at least then you'd know first hand if you like or dislike how they sound vs rehashing what you read on the internetz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
