130mm (5.2") -> 165mm (6,5" ?)

Hey

I have a problem.

Im owner Citroen Saxo VTS 2001'. And I want to do good audio system.

Standard front speakers is 130mm (5,2') but I want to mount 160-165mm ( 6,5' ?). It;s possible to do that? It's looks be hard to do. I think about distances from 5,2 to 6,5? Or maybe better is mount standard 5,2?

sorry i can't dl the pictures but if you have room it shouldn't be a problem fitting 6.5 in there. you just would have to build your own baffle to have the 6.5 sit correctly.

I'm waiting for more answers. Maybe someone have done something similar?

okay well looking at the pictures i can't positively say you can fit 6.5 in there. but if you got the tools, go buy some mdf and if you have a jigsaw or a router then you can possibly try to make your own baffle to be able to fit a 6.5 on there. my guess is that you can but you gotta make your own baffle. also something else to consider is how much mounting depth do you have behind the door with the window down.

should be a piece of cake, mdf will work perfectly.

6.5" speakers are gonna be deeper, too, something to keep in mind.
