13 w7 vs re sx 15

how would the 13w7 compare to the sx both in optimal enclosures at 32 hz output wise.im just curious .ive heard the w7's have amazing output even the 12 w7's.i want opinnions

I had three 13w7's with 4K watts, and I had three 15" sx's with about the same power. NO COMPARISON whatsoever! The SX's are waaaaaaaay louder (at least in my truck both with factory-spec ported boxes). fwiw, The w7's seemed to have a bit better playing range...they banged out the higher and lower notes with similar authority (could've been box tuning, but the w7's were actually tuned LOWER - 28hz - than the sx's - 34hz). The lows on the sx's are no joke though. IMO, I'd do the sx's without a doubt. Plus...I paid more than twice as much for the w7's. Hope this helps.

i kno sx =sql and w7 = sq.i was just wondering how much of an output u would loose.and i was gonna get 2 inch se's but i got the sx cheaper and less room to port than 2 12's.i may give mine a extra foot or 2 of airspace tho

If you want output then go with the sx, end of question.

Didn't know they made 2inch SE's

SX would take just as much room as SE's ported fine, if not more...

my bad the 12 inch se's.and ya after i thank about it the se's would need 4 cubic ft,like i got my sx in.still saved money tho
