12w7 and bmw M3

So my bro just picked up a JL 1000/1 and a 12w7 for his 02 M3. He is lookin to have a box made at a local audio shop. My question is what size and tuning frequency would you use in this particular application if it were yours. Just trying to get a general idea of what to have them tune it at. I would guess something maybe in the 28hz-32hz range. Your opinion please
