they are much the same class of sub... Q is an SQ speaker as mush as the W6, i prefere the w6 a little for SQ but i think the Q might have a better potential for output.

i would go neither though, the question is like asking "which is better to wipe your *** with: a tooth brush or a mop?"

no if you like Fi and want SPL go with something from the BTL line...

if you just want a really loud daily setup their BL's are great

but i'd look at something like the RE SX-12 Agreat sub for a Daily application with lots of Volume and you can probably find one for around $275

i know the W6 isnt a SPL directed sub, but can get plenty boom. I am looking for a SQ setup with nice SPL. Knowing that the Q and W6 are in the same class, i wanted to know from experienced others what will get more SPL.
