I have a PPI PC2600, and my friends giving me 2 JL 12w6's (older models) for my old kenwood amp. i was wondering if i should hook just one of these subs up to my amp or both? i would rather just do one if possible, but i dont know if the amp can handle the impendance loads

could i run one 12 @6 ohms and drop it down to 3ohms when i bridge it? or would it be better to run it at 12ohms and drop it down to 6 when i bridge it? would the amp be stable at 3 ohms bridged? woud my amp put out enough power at 6 ohms? or should i sell these and get some new subs?

Power Bandwidth 4.5 Hz - 100 kHz

Total Harmonic Distortion 0.02 %

Input Topology Differential

Input Sensitivity 150mv - 12 volts RMS

Input Impedance 10 k Ohms

Load Impedance (stereo) 2 - 8 Ohms

Load Impedance (bridged) 4 - 8 Ohms

Supply Voltage 11 - 15 volts

Damping Factor >500

Slew Rate >50 V/mS

PC2600

150 WRMS x 2 @ 4W per channel

300 WRMS x 2 @ 2W per channel

600 WRMS x 1 @ 4W bridged

and of course this amp is underated.

you should run both 12s with that amp. I have a PC2150 (same amp just earlier model) and run 3 12W3s and they are loud as **** and sound great.

yea but the thing is when you run 3 w3 d6's or 3 w6's you get a 4 ohm load which this amp likes. it was originally hooked up to 3 w3 d6's and i still have them on of the subs just has a big hole in the surround, plus a have a single cab truck so it would be kinda hard to fit those
