i know they make the ones that most people use for carputers, but im not most people:D

plus, a 10.4" vga touchscreen is almost 600 bux. i was looking at a samsung 17" at bestbuy, nice monitor IMO, and i wanted to glass it in my dash...but this guy was telling me that running an inverter is more trouble that its worth, its not the correct way to do it, it wont survive engine crank, most inverters are only like 30% efficient, they take lots of power on my electrical system, and startup/shutdown problems. also he said the correct way to power a carputer is to use a DC-DC converter.

what to do? i dont want a 7 or 8" screen so dont suggest that please...lol
