125w@4ohm and 250w@2ohms, which 6.5's to get?

I just need the 6.5 woofers and some passive xovers to go with them. I love my bravox tweets so I'd like to use them with whatever mids and Xovers I land on. These will be powered by an rf 500a2.

I'm leaning towards some xxx mids if I can find the woofs and xovers at the right price. I'd prefer to keep it around 150 or less. I wish I had more to spend but budgets TIGHT. Are there any other options out there around this price range that are comparable to the xxx mids?

Also, how do the newer 2006 and up versions of the xxx's compare to old school xbl^2 ones. I'd love to get my hands on some older style ones....
