1243D Alpine Type R DVC 4ohms - AudioQ1200d - help wiring @ 1 ohms

Hey I've been googling stuff and cant find out how exactly to wire these subs to this amp. (two DVC 1243D type Rs @ 4 ohms with a AQ1200D amp) I need it to be @ 1 ohm.

They're going to be in a dual ported box. I tried to get in installed professionally today, but wasn't possible. I'd appreciate the help. All I would really need is a diagram of some sort showing me how to wiring them. I found one, but I wouldn't understand how I'd wire them if the subs are in a dual ported box... Wouldn't that mean I'd have to drill a whole in the wall in the middle to connect the subs together? I'm really confused. Thanks in advance.

hit up the12volt.com and go to subwoofer wiring. it will show you its a great website for pretty much anything in car audio.

and yes i think you would have to drill a hole. look at the diagram and see what needs to be done.

You could wire each sub in parallel, pos to pos and neg to neg....

Then connect them together outside out of the box to go to one positive and one negative to the amp, don't have to connect them INSIDE of the enclosure....
