1200rms to 1 15in l7 ok?

well im going to be running 2 l7's in a 9-10cubic foot box ported. and running a hifonics 1206d amp to each sub at 1 ohm to give out 1200rms. i know there a bit over rated so i should be fine right?

Yea you'll be just fine. Theres people running alot more to their L7's. And the hifonics are overrated so yea just set your gains right and you'll be fine.

No they are overrated.

No, he meant over rated. You won't get 1200 out of that amp. The sub will be fine as long as you don't send it a clipped signal. I was running 1400 watts daily to my 15" L7 until I sold the amp. Now the sub just sits in my room.

i run two kicker 1500.1 amps one to each 15" o6 L7 the kicker amps are underrated and are putting out 1840 watts RMS each. the subs LOVE it. i am also running in a 10.5 cube box.

i play full bore most of the time and never have a problem.
