12'' xcon vs 15'' xcon?

I'm trying to decide between a 12'' xcon and a 15'' xcon. The subwoofer will be sitting on my back seat right behind the driver seat. I have a 03 toyota tundra so space is an issue.

The biggest box I could fit would measure W 34'', D 17'', H 20''. would this be enough room for the 15? My plan is to get the sub as soon as i can and put it in a prefab box that I have until I can get a better box. I'll also be using an mtx 1000xd until I can afford a better amp.

I want a 50/50 mix of sq/spl. Is there a noticeable difference between the two sizes? If the difference is very minor I would rather have the 12 to save some room. What do you guys think?

As for the subs, you'd be happy with both. I recently removed my 12" Xcon from a car I just sold. And it's the best sub I've ever owned, definitely my favorite. I had it in a small trunk, but it was in a ported box built by RAM, that thing is the definition of SQL. You'll be happy with both. Just make sure you get an amp that can really push that sub because it will laugh at that MTX.

But on another note, I strongly disagree with the box on the backseat idea.

Do you use you truck bed a lot? You can always do a blow through. Or whatever its called.
