12" XXX in a Sealed Box???

Anyone have a 12" Re XXX in a Sealed enclosure?

What size? Hows it sound? I listen to mostly Rap music...

The reason I ask (kinda long) I **** at building boxes, meaning, I can do sealed ones, but not ported or vented....

Anyway, I took out my other system the 3 JL 12W6s and have that all pretty much sold...

Now I am driving around with a spare JL 10W0 (I think, not sure, as it was just laying around in my garage) and its just not cutting it....

So, I was thinking about putting in one of my 12" XXXs (or maybe 2) in a sealed box for a few months prolly till like mid Feb, when I hope to be taking the truck back apart to put it on airbags...

I'd pay someone to build me one, but that would take away from my fundages to do the bags....

Thoughts???

i recently had a 15" sx in a sealed box runnin off about 1500 watts at peak so normal listening levels it was of course a lot less wattage. anyways, surprisingly it didnt sound that bad. the output was decent and it was nice and clear. as long as your only gonna be running it for a few months in the sealed i say go for it. but IMO if your gonna keep it like that forever, its a waste. btw, get used to having dudes try and show you up when you got a sealed box. i recently went to a party, and some guy had a system that was pretty lame. i didnt talk to him but from what it sounded like it wasnt that great. either way when i rolled up i only had that 1 sx in the sealed box. they talked some shit about my system underneath their breath. if only i had my freakin 2 sx's in my ported box i would of put those bastards to shame. of course i shouldnt let my ego get the best of me, as once those dudes saw what i had i wouldnt be surprised if they would try and steal that shit, so maybe its a good thing. but it does **** when someone is talkin shit and you cant show em up.

i know, i built my system for me, its just that when they go talkin shit about your stuff when they're bumping and their shit is distoring like crazy, its get to you, or at least it got to me.
