12" Treo TE vs. RE Se

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a 12" 600 RMS SQ sub.

I think I have it narrowed down to the Treo TE or RE Se. Unfortunately I can't hear either of the subs where I live, so I will have to go off your guys suggestions.

It would be going in the back of my Infiniti QX4. Ported or sealed doesn't matter, I will be building the box myself.

I listen to mostly rap and hip hop.

If you have heard both, or either, please post your thoughts.

I'm such a ****, but the most impressive ground pounding sound quality system I've ever heard was all Treo. 6 15"s with like 12-13kw. Midbass and highs were all on point. My vision blurred standing outside of that excursion.

RE SE, 600 rms ported 2 cubes tuned to 30 will make you happy. 800 rms and it would sound amazing. my .02

Yea, your set up is dead sexy net. One hell of a box. The amp I am considering is a AQ1200D also, so i could run it at 870 @ 2 ohms. The 870 rated would be a little high, but if I watch my gains it would be nice to run daily, and I know the power is there if needed.

The SE's are low end monsters and have great SQ. If you wanna check out this vid of bass i love you i did, you'll see these things handle anything very well. I have a few others you can watch too.

yeah, i am curious also. I think they are both excellent subs, but I don't hear much about the treo.

No question these are both great subs. I know the RE wins the popularity contest, but there's just not a while lot or Treo users out there anymore.

Does anybody in the IL/Chicago area have either of these subs?

Or

Can anybody that has heard both of these subs compare and contrast the two?
