Sold 12" TC9+/Axis LMS

A nice piece of TC Sounds here. Basically a beefed up sw8000 and built to be utilized in a sealed enclosure. Was gonna use this for HT but decided on something smaller and different all together.

12" Axis basket, TC9+ motor from an Eclipse SW8000, Aluminum roundwound S3 LMS coil, Single med spider with sewn in leads, Digital Designs cone assembly with highroll style EROM surround( not as high as a regular highroll but much more linear), full cover slightly domed poly cap with diamond texture. RMS would be 750-1k. I can provide TS parameters to the buyer.

condition is 8/10, mech 10/10.

all parts are brand new except the motor and basket were re-used. motor is in excellent shape. No scratches or tarnish. The only thing visually is i used Ca around the 4 bolts on the side that mounts the motor to the basket. There has been issues with this design in the past with these bolts. So when building, I gooped the basket to the motor, used loctite on the bolts and ca'ed them for complete failsafe!

Box would be about 2-3cu sealed or 3-4cu ported(not recommended)

Absolutely NO mechanical noise until this thing reaches over 2-2.5" p to p. This was designed and built from the ground up to run sealed in a HT setup off a 500w plate amp.

Thanks Phil! Im actually debating on selling this right now. So everyones got a few days. If not.... Im using it and the other choice i had for HT is going up for sale.

Charts out at 11cu for a sealed enclosure but LMS drivers always read weird. My finds were 2-4cu sealed with a 2-3db cut at 38-40hz. Should stay pretty flat from 25hz up to 80hz. Box F3 at 3cu should be 34hz.
