12" SQ sub

Hey, i'm looking for a good 12" sub that can handle a NINe.1 @ 1 or 2 ohms, whatever you think 'd be better with whatever sub. I want really good SQ. I have a b615, but i just realized i don't listen to rap at all, mostly rock, and slow stuff, so 15" don't sound good enough to me for that type of music. It'll be in a ~2 cube sealed box. My brother has a RF T1 in a 2 cube sealed box off a mtx 6500d, and wow, i LOVE the sound of it. I was thinking either a MTX 9500, or a Alpine Type X. I know the 9500 is said to be SPL mostly, but i've heard people say it sounds real good sealed. Also, i havent seen many with the type X, but i've heard its a "super" sub. I can get the type X for around $250, or the 9500 for $330, both off ebay. I'm really considering the Type X.

ive never heard the type x before but ive heard the type r's and the i liked how they sounded so i would imagine the type x would sound good, and if u can get the type x for 250 off ebay then go for it man.
