12" SPL Subwoofer?

in a situation with limited power, cone area is your friend. Get more subs that handle less power to get more per watt. definitely keep it ported(use screen or webbing over the port)

I decided to upgrade to a JL M600/1 amp for the CVR 12". I know the sub can handle a little more than rated, but will it be good with 600w RMS from the JL amp?

The CVR is fine in the marine environment. I'd like to get the L7 12", but I'm going to give this CVR 12" with 600w a shot first. The 300w I had before just wasn't enough.
