Well, my brother has decided he wants and RL-p. I told him I'd make him the box, as a birthday gift. So, I was wondering what you guys would recommend for a ported box volume? Also, what should I tune it to? I was thinking about 2.0ft^2 @ 25 hz. Would that still sound good? Or should I tune it a little higher? Let me know guys...

i say 28-30hz, it'll retain its SQ. and 2.0 cubic ft. is good.

I'd say so. Oversized sealed is a nice way to go for the lowend.

for the 12" i would go with something around 2^3 tuned to 28-30hz

i had mine in 2.2cF @ 32 hz, theres a vid of it on roe

I've had mine in a 2ft^3 enclosure tuned to 28 and another at 30. I couldn't tell a difference.

Mike reccomends a 4ft^3 at 28 or a 3ft^3 at 34.
