12" RE SX D4... agree???

Okay. I'm looking to buy a new sub. I am currently running a 10" W6 and I am looking into getting a SX. Is this a good decision? I'm looking for "boom", loudness, and SQ. The SQ on the JL is good but it doesn't get as loud as I want it to. I know that the RE will be loud but will I sacrifice a lot of SQ? I hear that the SX series don't hit the midrange bass levels, is this true? I was thinking of getting another W6 but I can get a 12" SX for about $250. Another JL will cost me $299. Please help me out with this guys. Thanks.

the sx is loud and pretty clean as far as the mid bass notes it dose like the low end better but if you put enough power to it, it will hit the mid notes all in all great sub what amp u pushin with

Looking to give it the full 1000 watts RMS. I'm probably going to run it at 2 ohms.

Not sure that I've heard of anyone 'dissappointed' of the low end of an sx fed 1kw. As long as you have a good box it should do well for a single 12.

I know. I've heard the 10" and was satisfied but does it have good sound quality? Does it pump clean bass?

I have a 12" RE SX, it's an awesome sub, I highly recommend it. I've heard a 13 W6 and it's pretty loud but it's really not as loud as a RE SX will get. Go with RE
