12" RD Alpha v.2

I need to know what kind of enclosures the 12" RD Alpha v.2 thrives in, guys. I'm ordering it on friday, and I'd like to have the enclosure ready when it gets here. I've looked on their website and sweeped their forums, but I can't find the info I need.

Sealed and ported recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Dude, you don't know the whole story. The guy has responded to everything sales or monetary related, but has yet to answer a single question in regards to enclosure recommendations. I've asked 2 or 3 times, and he's responded without the information that I need. Then there's the matter of the RD website. It's been "under construction" for as long as I've known it to exist. I tried to find the answer to my question on their forum, but there's barely a thing about the Alpha v.2 on there.

I agree that he should know better than anyone, but I can't get the info I need. I'm going to buy this sub on friday, and I'd like to have the enclosure ready when it gets here. I'm doing a build for a guy who has to go out of town for 4 weeks next tuesday, and I'm sure he'd like to have his install finished...

From what I've been told, the Alphas can work in fairly small enclosures, but should be tuned low. For a 12 I'd wager 2.5cu or so tuned at 30Hz would do just dandy. Hell Steve said the 18 only needs 5.5.

Right now I'm putting up a "general box recommendations" thread on CACO to see if we can get some stuff up, so keep an eye on that to see what's what.
