12" powerbass 3xl subwoofer

I was very sceptical to try a brand i had never heard of and nobody had in my town, but since i like to try new things, i went with this beast of a sub.

I had no info on it and had no idea what kind of box or what size, so after building numerous boxes that sounded like ****, i finally made one that bangs, and hard and clean @ that!!

box is 34w x 16h x 14d with a 3" slot port tuned @ 32hz (30" long port)..

this sub only has 600rms to it right now and isnt broken in yet, but shakes the hell outta my car and hits every note cleanly!!! sub is rated @ 850rms and 1700 max with dual 1 ohm voice-coils....

I am very impressed with this speaker, and compared to kicker cvr, jl audio w3v3, and kicker L5, it was the cleanest and loudest by far!! i would rate it in between a jl w6 and w7 for its sound... and quality of the speaker itself is great...

i have 2 of them and have won many SPL comps with them for what you pay they are one of the best hands down and they were known as the JL W7 killers when they came out so remember that cause these are only 200-250 on ebay and the w7 is around 650-800 on ebay

Not to bash the review but I personally wouldn't recommend these subs.. They have a 340 oz magnet but can only handle 900 watt rms, and I remember blowing one off about 1250 watts, they are loud but you would think that a sub in the same weight class as HDC3 would be able to handle more than 1200 watts! And the low-end was not that good,, they have a high FS giving them a frequency response of like 45hz-500, if you can get a good price on them I guess they arn't bad, but I would try other stuff

had 2, blew both. Rebuilt them (110.00 for two kits shipped from PB). Sounded good, but not great. Clean hard hits though. Couldn't keep the dust caps on.
