and i forgot to mention i would be getting 2 P1'S
im pretty sure that p1 wont be as loud as you type Rs. did you look at the specs on them. there only 400 watts max? your type Rs handle well over 1000. seems dumb to me

alright thats why i was asking i aint an expert or anything but i've heard a well made low power sub will outdo a high power not so good sub so i was asking which one to go by

The RF is probably not what they were talking about. Type R's are pretty well regarded for budget subs. My thought would be your money would be better spent on a custom box to really get them to perform properly.

I kept switching pre-fab boxes in my 300zx along with woofers because i couldn't get the right sound out of the woofer. Then something told me to have a box made and when I got my car back from the shop after 5 years of switching out so many woofers it came down to the box. When dealing with bass the box is 85% of the equation. I used to think that the woofer was 85% of the equation but that is so far from the truth.

alright thanks guys..i do have a custom built box for my 12's and WOULD get one if i would get the 15's thanks for the input
