you want a really good woofer that will rip your head off w/ SPL for the price then yeah go with a power HX2 or even a punch HX2 will hurt. but if you want spl don't put money into an eclipse those sucker's are really pricy and also mainly SQ subs they still hit hard but you'd be happier with like 2 of the power HX2's b/c you could probably get 2 of them for the price of 1 eclipse that your looking at.

i kinda read the specs on that driver sub, what are more specs if anyone has specs on them i would really appreciate it. they look to be pretty beefy subs for only 220 bucks.

The 1203 does look really g0od, i was expecting some major price tag, but when i scrolled down, i was shocked....

Now, the dd 3500b for example(might be my next sub) how does the 1203 compare to the dd, since they pretty much in the same price range.....

I had 2 12 alum dvc's of a xtant 1000.1,they had a nice sound to them but not much of a spl sub, i upgraded to 2 10JL W7's..And was astonished by the difference, with same gain setting on amp.The 10's turned to mid way on the H.U pound harder then the alumi's at close to peak volume on my H.U with some distortion.I know, the w7's are pricey , but i wuv em... = p Good luck hunting man, took me a while to find my sub of choice, but it was worth the wait... Oh yeah i got the pair for close to 850.00.

well at least your happy. that's way too much money for 2 subs though man. that's what i hate about jl they are so much but you got really good prices on them. i had a friend pay close to a grand for his W7's.

Ok would the punch hx2 12 be the best bumper for tha buck.I know tha eclipse are pricey the guy said tha best he could do is $525 can. witch is half of your dollar so 262.50 of your green backs.I know the power hx2's handle double the power but are they alot better for the money.They want $500 can. for the power hx2 12" at the dealer,I really love the power HX but I dont love tha price.I want to spend around $250 can. for one 12.Should I dish out the $500 for one 12 or will i be happy with the punch hx thats my delema(be cheap or go for tha gold).//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

lowrider, i'm kinda in the same spot as you, and i've been looking at the dd 3500b series subs, they pretty much the same money as the power hx2, but i need to kno if they will match it output wise...

Power hx2 or dd 3500b???

i don't beleive I have ever seen a peak rating for them. But the RMS is rated at 1000w+ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif And I'm checking on the availiable impedence options.
